• Entries Open:  Friday, April 25th, 2025.
• Entry Close Date:  Friday, June 27th 2025.
• Player eligibility and playing conditions are set down in the New Zealand Curling Association Tournaments Procedures and the WCF Rules of Curling.
• Entrants must be under 21 years of age on June 30, 2025, to be eligible to enter this tournament. 
• In 2025, the NZ Junior Mixed Doubles will likely start on Thursday, July 17, and participants must be available to play from 8:30 am. 
• The format for the 2025 Junior Mixed Doubles will be slightly different from previous years and will include a 'best of three' final.
  
• The final round of the NZJMD will likely be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, July 20. Prize giving will follow. 
  
• Dates and start times will be confirmed after entries are received. 
• In 2025, the finals will likely be a 'best of three' final where the pool play game result will count if teams played each other. 
• Teams are advised NOT to book any flights until the draw is confirmed. 
• All entrants must be affiliated with a Club, NZCA directly, or MAP please get in touch with the NZCA Secretary for more details. This does not apply to Secondary School Students.
• The tournament draw will be confirmed a week after entries close or as advised.
• Team Uniforms: NZCA encourages teams to wear match tops or uniforms in tournaments so team members are easily identifiable.
• To allow time for ice preparation, no team is allowed to practice on the ice later than 3 hours before the commencement of an NZCA National Curling Championship or as advised in the tournament rules accompanying the draw.
• If you don't have a Mixed Doubles partner but would like to play in the competition, please get in touch with the Administration Officer, and we will help you find a partner. 

Fees:

• The team entry fee is $200.
• Teams must pay their entry fee by tournament commencement; otherwise, they may be unable to take the ice.
• The skip (or a nominated team member) is responsible for promptly paying NZCA.
• Teams can pay online at the time of entry or directly to NZCA:  03-1733-0116697-00.  Use your team name and 'Junior Doubles' as reference details.
