New Zealand Secondary Schools Competition

Event Information

School Sport New Zealand and the New Zealand Curling Association sanction the NZSSC event.

Cost

$200 (including GST) per team. Payment details are on the entry form.

Divisions

• Girls, Boys, and Mixed (TBC).
• Teams entering the Girls' division must comprise an all-female team, and teams entering the Boys' division must comprise an all-male team. Girls' and Boys' teams may register up to 5 students per team. This will allow for substitutions in case a player is unavailable on game day.
• Please contact the NZCA Secretary prior to entry if you want to enter a Mixed Team. 
• It is not guaranteed that a Mixed division will occur. A Mixed division will only occur if more than two Mixed Teams are entered.  
• Mixed teams have two girls and two boys who must play alternately (boy-girl-boy-girl or girl-boy-girl-boy), and no 5th player is allowed. If one player becomes unavailable, teams may play with 3 (boy-girl-boy or girl-boy-girl).

Entry Notes

• The closing date for entries will be confirmed once the entry form is available.
  
• One entry form per team please. 
• To enter, the Teacher in Charge must complete the entry form, obtain the Principal’s signature, and email to nzca.secretary@curling.org.nz
