- Entries closed on Friday 4th August.
- One entry form per team please.
- The entry fee is $50 (including GST) per student. Payment details are on the entry form.
- To enter, the Teacher in Charge must complete the entry form above, obtain the Principal’s signature, and email to youth@aucklandcurling.nz
Event Information
The NISSC event is sanctioned by School Sport New Zealand and the New Zealand Curling Association, and will run during Winter Tournament Week from 28-31 August 2023. It is the only ice and snow sports competition available for Secondary School teams in Auckland during Winter Tournament Week!
Schedule
Session 1: Monday 28 August
- Arrive at 7:15 am for set up
- Finish at 3:00 pm
Session 2: Tuesday 29 August
- Arrive at 8:00 am for set up
- Finish at 12:45 pm
Session 3: Wednesday 30 August
- Arrive at 7:15 am for set up
- Finish at 12:00 pm
Session 4: Thursday 31 August
- Arrive at 6:00 pm for set up
- Finish at 9:30 pm
Prizegiving
- The prizegiving ceremony for this tournament will be held alongside the prizegiving for the Auckland Secondary Schools League on Thursday 21st September.
Divisions
- Girls, Boys, and Mixed.
- As with the ASSC, teams entering the Girls' division must comprise an all-female team, and teams entering the Boys' division must comprise an all-male team. We strongly recommend that Girls' and Boys' teams register a minimum of 5 students per team. This will allow for substitutions in case a player is unavailable on game day.
- Mixed teams have two girls and two boys who must play alternately (boy-girl-boy-girl or girl-boy-girl-boy), and no 5th player is allowed. If one player becomes unavailable, teams may play with 3 (boy-girl-boy or girl-boy-girl).
