Dispensations / Exemptions for the OISSSCC must be applied to NZCA by Monday 3rd August. We recommend contacting Lauren Becker at NZCA Secondary School Curling to discuss your exemption/dispensation before submitting it for approval.
The Secondary School curling competitions are an Open tournament. Any combination of teams may be entered in the tournament, e.g. boys, girls, mixed. Mixed teams can be any combination; they do not have to be the typical ‘Mixed’ format (M-F-M-F or F-M-F-M).
The draw will be confirmed one week after entries close. The games will likely start at 3 pm on Friday, 11th September, with Prizegiving around 5 pm on Sunday, 13th September (TBC after entries close).
Teams should comprise 4 or 5 players; games will be defaulted if there are not four players to take the ice at the beginning of the tournament.
Where a school enters more than one team, players can only play for one team.
Photos may be taken and made public – please note any students who do not wish to be included under ‘media’.
